WS-M174G – The Laptop with a Desktop CPU
The WS-M174G is based around the same Intel Core i7 Coffee Lake CPU’s found in our WS-160 / WS-X160 desktop workstations. This provides impressive performance levels due to the 6 Cores and 12 Threads and up to 4.7GHz clockspeed with Intel’s Turbo Boost technology. This is a 50% increase on cores and threads over previous generations and when combined with that high clockspeed this makes this laptop a very versatile solution.
Desktop Graphics in a Laptop Form Factor
Graphical performance is also a key consideration when choosing a high performance mobile solution and the WS-M174G doesn’t disappoint. This system can be configured with the same NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics technology available in a desktop form factor. There is no limitation and no half measures here, this is the same Graphical Processing Unit and 8GB GDDR5 memory seen in our desktop range. Combined with the desktop processor you can truly take desktop performance anywhere with you on the move.

Our in house expert engineers build each system to the exact configuration users require. This highly versatile mobile laptop can be configured to contain 16GB – 64GB system memory, up to 2x high speed M.2 NVMe Solid State Drives and up to 2x high capacity storage drives.
This laptop also features a stunning 17.3″ Full HD 1920×1080 matte finished IPS display with an optional QFHD (3840×21060) upgrade option. This laptop also features many built in ports and technologies such as a HD front facing camera, 6 USB Ports, 1x HDMI, 2x DisplayPort1.3, 1x Gigabit network port, 6 in 1 card reader, wifi/bluetooth built in, 2x 2w speakers, 1x subwoofer and a biometric fingerprint readers, ensuring you have everything you could need right out the box.
Warranty
The WS-M174G is covered by the same three year full parts and labour return to base warranty* all our workstations are provided with. This ensures you investment is fully protected and supported by our dedicated in house support engineers. We also offer an additional 4th and 5th year labour only warranty uplift should you require peace of mind for additional years to come.
*1 year warranty on consumable items including, battery, keyboard, track-pad, power adaptor and screen.
