Introducing the RS-D2850, our latest rendering innovation. Built on the same award winning system architecture as our Enterprise Class RS-R2850 this smaller desktop version offers the same high levels of rendering speed and performance without the draw backs associated with traditional rack based solutions.
The RS-D2850 requires NO mounting brackets or rails, and can be simply desk mounted, operated on top of any of our WS workstations (or any other workstations for that matter), or even housed remotely in any back office of studio environment. The system operates without the need for a separate keyboard monitor or mouse and requires just a single power and network cable for full operation using an intelligent management information interface (IPMI) for full programmability.
Developed to significantly reduce project render times our innovative RS-D2850 render node is a highly scalable, 100% remotely managed rendering system.
Powered by DUAL Intel® Xeon® Six/Eight Core Processors to provide up to 16 CPU rendering cores
(32x CPU Threads) and up to 512GB of RAM per system. Easily configurable from 1 to over 100 render nodes to provide an extremely fast, and powerful rendering farm solution. Perfectly suiting smaller studio/creative environments where space is an issue.
Perfect for Architectural Practices, Small Motion Media Studios or VFX Specialists rendering with 3dsmax, Maya, Showcase, Cinema4D, Vray, Mental Ray and Adobe After Effects.
Each render node (or render server) is 100% in scalable and is just 500mm deep, allowing you to stack a number of RS-D2850 systems on top of each other for a small, yet powerful renderfarm.
