The RS-R4220-U1 is an extremely dense twin node system meaning you actually get 2 independent nodes in one chassis. This allows us to fit a total of 4 Intel Xeon E5 2600 v4 (Broadwell-EP) processors into 1U of space. Each node can be configured to include 44 cores and 88 threads meaning per 1U chassis, an RS-R4220-U1 can contain a massive 88 CPU cores and 176 threads.

This rack based solution can also home a massive 1024GB per node of system memory, making it ideal for simulation and financial computation workflows as well.
