The RS-R4180 is a unique creation from Workstation Specialists. Designed specifically to dramatically reduce turnaround times and company’s overheads on highly intensive computing tasks such as 3D photorealistic CPU based rendering.

This unique 1U rackmount server chassis features 2x independent nodes, offering great power, density and redundancy. Each node is a standalone system meaning that the RS-R4180 is essentially 2 systems in one. These dual nodes will work independently, together and with other systems to combine their computing power over your internal network infrastructure to deliver the fastest results possible.

No longer wait hours for your system to render out a single frame when the RS-R4180 could do the job in minutes. Over the life span on the product many have found that it will pay for itself in saved man hours within the first year alone.

The RS-R4180 is based on enterprise components to deliver the very best experience to our customers. Featuring Dual Intel Xeon E5 2600v3 series processors, each node can contain up to 36 cores and 72 threads. This means that the combined power of each node could deliver an incredible 72 cores and 144 threads with help from Intel’s Hyper Threading Technology. The incredible CPU performance is also complimented by up to 1,024GB of quad channel DDR4 system memory, ensuring that no matter how large a dataset you are computing, or how large a scene is for rendering, you will always have the best performance possible. This technology will allow you to remotely setup, monitor and control this headless unit from anywhere with network access.
