NVIDIA Titan X Gets a Pascal Revamp

NVIDIA Titan X Pascal Header

Yesterday at Siggraph 2016 NVIDIA made a dramatic announcement introducing the new NVIDIA Titan X based on the Pascal architecture. We expect a lot of good things from this card if the recent NVIDIA GTX 1070 and NVIDIA GTX 1080 are anything to go by.

We cannot wait to get our hands on this card for testing and development so check back soon for further details. If you are interested in purchasing the NVIDIA Titan X and would like to receive more information on the product as soon as they become available request a quote from us today.

What do we know about the NVIDIA Titan X?

The latest edition to the NVIDIA Pascal GPU family delivers a massive 11 TFlops of single precision performance from its impressive 3584 CUDA Cores running at 1.417GHz base (1.531GHz boost clock) GP102 chip. This is nearly double that of the previous generation Maxwell based NVIDIA Geforce GTX Titan X.

For those memory intensive tasks the new NVIDIA Titan X offers a healthy improvement. Whilst the total capacity on the board is the same as the previous generation at 12GB. The latest card is based upon the latest GDDR5X memory technology rather than the standard GDDR5 resulting in an increase of 143.5GB/Sec from 336.56GB/Sec to 480GB/Sec memory bandwidth. These upgrades mean the new Titan X can offer significant performance boosts for all workflows from Virtual Reality, GPU Rendering to Scientific/Analysis Compute research.
