Our HPC218 utilize Intel's Nehalem Micro-architecture for parallel processing performance that has never before been seen in professional market place. Combined with integrated intelligent performance, increase I/O bandwidth, cutting edge Quick Path Interconnect (QPI) and support for larger amounts of memory to keep each microprocesor core running at full capacity.
The Intel Nehalem Micro architecture boosts performance even further for mission critical workloads. Intel Turbo Boost Technology increases CPU core frequency (GHz clock speed) to improve the execution speed when needed, whilst Intelligent Power Technology preserves power on unused cores when there is less demand. For applications that support parallel, multithreaded execution, Intel Hyper-Threading Technology has been re-introduced to reduce computational latency, making optimal use of every clock cycle (by allowing the simultaneous execution of 16x application threads).
